Online safety
Every website that you visit is logged on your computers hard drive. If you don't want other people to know you have visited this site then follow the instructions below to cover your tracks.
If you don't know what software you use to look at the Internet go to the top task bar and select Help then About. This will then tell you which one of the instructions you will need to follow.
Internet Explorer
1. Go to the Tools menu bar
2. Select Internet Options
3. Click Delete Files and check the Delete all offline content box and then click OK (this may take some time to delete)
4. Finally click Clear History and Yes
Netscape
1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences
2. Click on Navigator on choose Clear History
3. Select Advanced then Cache and click Clear Disk Cache
AOL
1.Click on the Settings tab on the AOL toolbar
2. Click on the Toolbar option in that box.
3. Tick the box clear history trial and Auto complete after each time I Sign off or Switch Screen names
4. Click on Save
5. You need to clear the history by press CTRL + H and click on yes tab to clear the history trial
