Recovery Toolkit

The Recovery Toolkit is a 12 week programme for women who have experienced domestic abuse. It is a closed group programme and therefore participants are expected to attend sessions every week. The programme is based on a psycho educational model which aims to provide women who have experienced domestic abuse with the resources to maximise their own potential. Women who attend the group have had to have left their abusive relationship.

Evaluation

This course was a great success and we have evidence that it works really well in helping women to recover from the trauma of domestic abuse and it goes a long way to helping women to recover their self esteem and confidence. A full evaluation of the course is available from Christine Stephens: Christine.stephens@oxfordshire.gov.uk

Upcoming Courses

Monday 31st October 2011, 12.30 - 2.30pm  in North Oxfordshire.

Please send your referrals to oxfordshiredomestic@a2dominion.co.uk or 0800 731 0055

Although we are running the course during the daytime, we are still interested to hear about women who would prefer to attend an evening course. So please send us referrals for both. If there is enough demand to run an evening course, we will look into funding in order to provide this.

Please read the criteria for referrals and complete the referral form if you would like your clients to participate in this course.
