Outreach

Domestic abuse outreach worker

Outreach workers provide emotional support and practical information for adults who are experiencing domestic abuse. They will work with you to empower you to make decisions regarding your relationship, irrespective of whether you wish to leave or not.

If you do want to end the relationship then the outreach worker will provide appropriate information and enable you to plan safely. The work includes safety planning, risk assessment and management.

If you just want someone to talk to who will believe you and not judge then the outreach worker is the perfect ear. To find out who the local outreach worker is then please contact the Oxfordshire domestic abuse helpline.
