Something for our Bucks Champions
The Safer & Stronger Bucks Partnership Board in association with the Bucks Safeguarding Children’s Board, Bucks Safeguarding Adult’s Board and Health and Wellbeing Board has organised a Domestic Abuse Big Tent Event on the 5th February 2019 between 09.00 and 13.00 to be held at Aylesbury Vale District Council, The Oculus. Lunch will be served after the event to encourage networking.
We are delighted to have a really exciting range of key note speakers including:
- Frank Mullane, (Patron of Reducing the Risk) Honorary Fellow of the University of Gloucestershire, CEO AAFDA, Centre of Excellence for Reviews after Domestic Homicide and for Specialist Peer Support.
- Dr Jane Monckton Smith (Patron of Reducing the Risk) an expert in the area of homicide, stalking, coercive control, and criminal investigation. She is Director of the Centre for Learning and Innovation in Public Protection (CLIPP) at the University of Gloucestershire.
- Laura Richards co-founder of the first National Stalking Helpline in 2010 who has won numerous awards for her work on stalking and homicide prevention.
Spaces are limited for what promises to be a very insightful event. Admission is free of charge but please only reserve a ticket if you are certain of your attendance.
A full programme of the event will be forwarded in January 2019. To reserve your place visit the EventBrite Website. If you have any questions please email Nigel Sims or myself.
