Training to become a DHR Chair

Below is an open letter from an old friend of Reducing the Risk (and a DA Champion of many years) who now works for one of our patrons- Frank Mullane.

Dear All,

AAFDA’s next two day course for ‘would be’ Chairs of DHRs, commissioners and DHR Chairs who want to refresh their knowledge, takes place 16 and 17 December 2019. This course really gets at the heart of DHRs and allows space for discussion of those grey areas.

It will take place in Swindon, Wiltshire. It is led by Frank Mullane who has quality assured over 650 DHRs for the Home Office and who has significantly influenced the DHR statutory guidance and methodology. On day two we will be joined by a family going through a ground-breaking case and DHR. We will also be joined on day two by Dr. Jane Monckton Smith who will lead a session on domestic abuse and domestic homicide.

The course costs £625 including a hot lunch both days and refreshments throughout the days. A Summary is available.

Book your place by sending an email

Apologies if you have received this email more than once… but we didn’t want you to miss out.

Kind regards
