Oxfordshire

Initial DA Champions' training

If you haven't already completed it, use the Domestic Abuse Champion application form to register with us as a DA Champion. The original two day training has now been broken down into modules for Oxfordshire. There is a helpful table about the modules.

Here is a basic list of the modules for Oxfordshire:

  1. DAU01- Module 1- Half day- Awareness of Domestic Abuse
  2. DAT01- Module 2- Half day- Children & Families- How much DA impacts
  3. DAT02- Module 3- Half day- Risk Assessment & safety Planning- for staff not wishing to become DA Champs
  4. DAR01- Module 4- 1 day- Domestic Abuse Champion training (pre requisite that you attend DAU01 and DAT01 first)

We will still retain the administration of our network but the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board is administering these new modules. You will need to sign up for the relevant modules (which are still free) by visiting the OSAB training website. Once the DA Champion training module is completed, we will upgrade the requisite access onto your account on our website.

It sounds complicated and we do hope to help simplify things as time goes on.
